We recently ate at Chez Eugenie, a restaurant specialising in all things seafood located along the Grande Plage of Biarritz.
Accordingly, we started with a seafood platter, comprising oysters, sea whelks and prawns. This was accompanied by a glass of Jurançon, which was the perfect refreshment for a warm summer day in Biarritz.
For the main, we chose a seafood parilla (seabass, mussels and prawns) - a treat for the eyes and tastebuds – and a fish and chips. The basque twist on the typically British dish did not disappoint !
For dessert, the chocolate and raspberry choux pastry was the perfect finale to our indulgent meal.
Our table on the terrace, with a beautiful sea and beach view, also added to an already fantastic experience.
Overall, we recommend all seafood lovers come and enjoy a wonderful culinary experience here at Chez Eugenie – without comprimising on the beauty of Biarritz, of course !
