This may be one of the best strolls to do from the Old Town. At Bastion St André, start walking along the seashore until you reach the Salis beach. There, you will find signs showing the direction to « La Garoupe ». This is an easy and quaint path (10 to 15 mn walk), which heads to the top, at an altitude of 103m. The lighthouse is one of the most powerful of the Mediterranean sea. Don’t miss out on a visit to the chapel, whose colorful walls are covered with ex-votos from sailors or from their families, who asked Notre-Dame-de –la-Garde to look after them. Definitely a must-see during your stay in Antibes!

C'est certainement une des plus belles balades à faire depuis la Vieille Ville. Rendez vous au Bastion Saint-André et de là, longez la bord de mer jusqu'à la plage de La Salis. Vous verrez alors des panneaux indiquant "La Garoupe". Le chemin est facile et agréable (10 à 15 min de marche) et vous atteindrez le sommet à 103m d'altitude. Le phare est un des plus lumineux de la côte méditerranéenne. Ne manquez surtout pas la chapelle avec ses murs couverts d'ex-voto que les marins ou leurs familles ont offerts à Notre-Dame- de- la-Garde en remerciement de sa protection. Une promenade incontournable lors de votre séjour à Antibes!
